There was an interesting article in the Independent on Sunday (UK) on 25th October questioning the "green" credentials of using biomass (plantations) for energy production. The article has a link to an ENGO (MEEA) from USA that present some seemingly compelling evidence that biomass is bad.
Will be great if others can post articles (both pro and anti) regarding the issue.
